The Samms Agenda by Alison Kent
Charged with the task of securing Katrina Flurry before an Spectra IT hitman can make her his latest kill, Julian Samms is in no mood to cater to a high maintenance socialite. The mission was simple enough, but when his plan starts to unravel Julian finds himself on the run with Katrina in tow. Julian wants nothing to do with the former girlfriend of Spectra IT's frontman Peter Deacon, but he has a job to do. Not all is what it seems however, and Katrina may not be as guilty as he originally thought. Will Julian discover the real Katrina before it's too late?

The third book in the SG-5 series is as a fast paced as the first two adventures, with Kent dropping you into the action right away. As with the previous titles, I would recommend The Samms Agenda to readers who enjoy contemporary romance as well as romantic suspense. While you do not need to read the first two books in this series (The Bane Affair and The Shaughnessey Accord) to enjoy The Samms Agenda, I highly recommend that readers do read these books in order to fully appreciate the world the author has created. As with The Shaughnessey Accord I found that the only complaint readers may have is that the novella form is a bit too short. It's great for readers who want a quick enjoyable read, but readers who prefer to spend more time with the characters and their story may feel as if they have been left hanging. Fortunately the world of SG-5 and its operatives continues in The Beach Alibi.
