Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris
Now that vampire Bill is out of her life, Sookie is resolved to stay out of trouble, particularly supernatural trouble. Her resolve does not hold for long however when she discovers Eric, the head of the local next of vampires, running naked alongside the road. To her surprise Sookie discovers that Eric has no memory of her, nor does he know who he is. Sookie soon learns that a coven of witches has come into the area looking to start a supernatural turf war, and may be responsible for Eric’s current state. To complicate matters further, Sookie’s brother has disappeared. With no one to turn to and time running out, Sookie must take matters into her own hands.
