The Beach Alibi by Alison Kent
An unexpected problem stemming from his latest mission has Kelly John Beach thrown for a loop. Caught breaking into a high rise through Spectra IT's video surveillance, Kelly needs to prove that he was somewhere else fast. What he needs is an alibi, and Smithson Group assistant Emma Webster would make a perfect one. The plan is simple enough: make a new video recording that documents Kelly and Emma's evening out. What isn't in the plan are the feelings that have been brewing between Kelly and Emma, feelings that begin to bubble to the surface as they race to provide Kelly with the perfect alibi.
The fourth (and possibly my favorite) book in the SG-5 series is as thrilling and fast paced as the previous books. Once again I would recommend The Beach Alibi to readers who enjoy contemporary romance or romantic suspense. While the books in the SG-5 series could stand alone, I highly recommend that readers read these books in order. Not only does this give readers a better glimpse into the world Kent has created, but reading each episode back to back provides a measure of continuity that would appease readers who feel that the books may be a bit too short for them. The adventures of the SG-5 operatives continues in The McKenzie Artifact.
